Blues Farm Records' Premiere Artist Sansietch To Perform In Portales, NM

Fans of country, rock and blues will get several hours worth of original music by Sansietch as Blues Farm Records kicks off its concert series at the Easel and Frame Gallery in Portales, NM on Saturday, January 31st, 2009.

 – Clovis, NM – January 31, 2009 – Blues Farm Records continues to put on shows across New Mexico. Saturday, January 31st the labels premier artist, Sansietch will perform his acoustic set at The Easel and Frame Gallery on Main Street in Portales. The fledgling gallery showcases the work of over 25 local artists. There is no cover charge for the show and they have coffee available for all.

Blues Farm Records' artist Sansietch, widely known for his improvisational rock music, also has several albums of acoustic music, including Acoustic River and Fields Of Glory. Sansietch is scheduled to kick off the show at 6 p.m., and perform two full hour of his original music, including material from his latest rock CD, New Mexico Son.

As well as offering Blues Farm Records artists' CDs, The Easel and Frame Gallery carries the full line of books from Blues Farm Publishing. Lyric poetry books from Sansietch, non-fiction for up and coming independent artists, and children's fiction books are also available at the gallery, as well as from the official website, http://bluesfarm.webs.com. Blues Farm Publishing photographer Barbara Royer also displays her framed, award-winning photography at the gallery.

Blues Farm Records has recently signed several indie artists and says it is committed to giving its fans a wide variety of good music and other art from local and regional artists. Coming soon: the sophomore CD from Santa Fe's Gary Gorence, who recently performed in Clovis at Kripple Creek Restaurant to rave reviews, the lyric poetry of Tim O'Rourke from Albuquerque, the poetry of Barbara Royer, and the lyric poetry of local celebrity Mark Kelley.
